House of the Dragon promised a return to Westeros, a realm teeming with political intrigue and mythical creatures. While it undoubtedly delivered on the latter, the series struggles to recapture the magic of its predecessor, Game of Thrones.
The Mandalorian sets up in the unique world of George Lucas with its diverse species and planets. Some of the characters like the robot IG-11, Vader, Yoda, Jedi, etc. are borrowed directly from The Star Wars. With all these mutual elements, The Mandalorian has a different atmosphere, and its storyline focuses on a different motif.
The first impression of watching a few episodes of Fear The Walking Dead is that characters and casting are not as attractive as The Walking Dead. Comparing Andrew Lincoln as Rick Grimes and Sarah Wayne Callies as Lori Grimes versus Cliff Curtis as Travis Manawa and Kim Dickens as Madison Clark gives the vote to The Walking Dead.
